My brother has inherited an SWR meter but we are a little unsure how to use it. Anybody want to show us? We still have to get the cable to connect it since the one that came with it was no good.

Very nice, thanks Jim. The ones I found were assuming my meter had more than it does :thumb:

I never made through all these links, but, there they are: CB tuning rf/theory links (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?4994-CB-tuning-rf-theory-links&highlight=CB+tuning)

Cb tuning is really important, I inherited one from my Grandfather (old trucker) and it makes a big difference.

As a side note, I live in Thornton, if anybody in the club would like to use mine to tune their cb.

It definitely is. Had I tested my cb when I installed it I would have realized I did not have a good enough ground for antenna and I burned up first cb in 3 months. I have increased the ground and now I still read high from 12 down(13 at 1.9) but below 1 on 40. I attached a jumper cable from battery to antenna mount and read about 1.5 on channels 1, 20 and 40. Time to find a better ground.
