It has some tough spots as I recall, certainly harder than continuing up Anterro. I'll be up there soon and cn report back but probably not until the 22nd which might not help you at all. As I recall I didn't have any trouble in my 4Runner and a really fun trail. The end (it's an in and out trail) is pretty cool with the mine remains, etc.

Did you read the Trail Danmage review? TrailDamage.com - Baldwin Lake (http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=337)

I was part way up it earlier this year. Got just past the rock slide/scree field below before my wife had enough. There are some fairly large rocks to climb over just after the trail splits off. That said I got over them fine in a stock wrangler.

It's been about 3 years since I have been up there, I remember the worst of it being right before the cutoff to Antero. At that it was bumpy, maybe 10-15" sized rocks, you should be fine with your rig, the third rig below (black FJ) and the silver Tacoma behind it were stock, no lift and we went all the way up to the mine.

Right after the split to Antero there are lots of places to camp on the left too.
