Sold my Jeep last Friday evening, and immediately went and looked at a couple of trucks. (I had been searching CL for a long time before i sold my Jeep so i had a few in mind). One was s***, the other i loved! Ended up negotiating that night and went and purchased it Saturday morning! I've been dying to be in a truck for a while and I finally convinced my parents and also made some good money selling the jeep.

Anyway here it is, 2006 XLT. Triton 5.4 with 55k miles. Exhaust. Fabtech lift. Brand new tires. Amp research power side steps (awesome!). I wasn't sure on the color, but the white really does look pretty good in person!

I understand the white thing. I really have never liked white trucks, but when I was looking to buy I did see a few where it just worked well, and looked good on the truck.

Congrats!

Re the paint: Chris says that white paint does an excellent job hiding pine-tree pinstriping... (and he's right)

Looks nice!

Now, get a topper before you have people asking for help when they move. ;)

Nice ride!!!! I like white due to it hides dirt and scratches pretty well compared to darker colors. Let me know when you sell this one!!:lmao::D

Like Jim said, white is great hiding pinstripes! I get comments all the time about how "pristine" my looks. Then they look at the right angle and see it's covered with scratches!

Nice truck!

I think I saw that truck up on Craigslist for awhile. Looks nice.

I vote dark window tint and some black wheels. I like the look of pickups better without toppers...but the toppers really are too functional to give up. Thats why I have one on my Ranger.

Every once in a while I miss having a pick-up, then I remember how everybody always wants you to help them move and I am better :lmao: Nice truck...gonna be taking it on the trails?

The white with black wheels and windows will look quite good on that truck!

who tinted your windows? Did you like them? Mind if I ask how much it cost you? This is definitely on the list for my new truck also.
