Went through Beef Basin in Utah last Thursday, going through a sandy wash and popping out I caught a very old stubborn tree. The end result:

Thanks everyone. Your right, could have been way worse. I know it can be fixed. Think I am going to need a new baseboard. Waiting to hear back from CVT. I also need the 2 mounting tracks some of the hardware and a hinge.

OUCH! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's a simple and inexpensive fix. Keep us posted!

So far no talk of money from them, Bobby and Ian at CVT said I was very lucky the tent was unscathed. They had a customer lend their suburban with a CVT RTT on top and the guy drove it into a parking garage, demolished the whole thing. They are amassing the parts and said they would get back to me in a couple days.

should look into building some sort of protection for the front of that! some tubing to deflect branches or something. I would be interested in taking a look at it sometime and see what we can brainstorm! If if happened once, chances are it will happen again!

Great minds think alike Steve! Am also thinking of a parking sensor system as a audible warning.

Brad

Total cost for the parts with shipping, $105.00.

CVT are the best, I know all these types of tents are Chinese, but the service from Ian and Bobby is bar none the best!!

They also have the walls with floor added on for the 79" Awning available, I put some money down on one to go with my awning I highly recommend if you want a easy addon tent you pick one up!!

I have not Steve. Not sure if the brown church rack is going to be able to weld onto it so I am looking into detachable options. We need to gtg and go over some options.

Sounds good brad. I will probably around all week this week and possibly next weekend as well if you would like to come by. I have a ton a scrap steel and tube here, so that might help us have a reference point of stuff to hold up and see what might work.
