COLORADO - SCORR's TENDERFOOT MOUNTAIN TRAIL PROPOSAL NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT

Our partners over at the Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO (http://www.cohvco.org/)) and the Summit County Off-Road Riders (SCORR (http://www.scorr.org/)) sent us their latest call to action on the proposed Tenderfoot Mountain Motorcycle Trail System.

The Forest Service is seeking feedback on a proposal to create an approximately 21-mile single-track trail system on National Forest System (NFS) lands in the Tenderfoot/Frey Gulch area, which is managed by the Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest (WRNF). The Summit County Off Road Riders (SCORR) have created an amazing proposal with the Dillon Ranger District to develop a 21 mile multiple use single track trail system on Tenderfoot Mountain outside Dillon with parking.

Single track, I'll never use it but it's nice to see a proposal to open a trail instead of close one.

Any effort to open something deserves a standing ovation! I am still fuming about the seasonal gates up here on Kingston (FS 353).

I'm all about opening more single track up there. I think its a great sport and am in full support. Let all try help the cause even if you don't ride it will help others.
