A big thanks to Rob for helping me today do a 2" lift on my 2012 Wrangler. I cannot express myself well enough to let him know how much I appreciated it. Here's some before and afters. We did a 2 inch spacer lift kitfrom Superlift with shock. Took a total of just over 6 hours.

Took a total of just over 6 hours.

Weird. It took me only three and half hours. :D (I didn't get there till 9, and Tom already had one corner done.) That was fun, Tom. Glad I could help.

Believe it or not, it went without a hiccup. Nice to work on a newer vehicle.

Tom,

Looks good. Now you might be able to keep up with the Silver Bullet. Let's hit a trail next spring and find out.

I added 2.5 inches to the Silver Bullet and was pleasantly surprised with the improved trail performance. Fewer clunking sounds coming from underneath.

Don't know about Rob, but I feel like I was run over by a bus. 130 lbs of torque from contorted positions, boy am I sore!

Looks great Tom! I want to do this to my Jeep too! Thanks for the heads up on a sore body, when I do mine I am going to my mech shop to put it on the lift!! Edit:I hate being on the ground doing work under a vehicle, one time I put my neck out, now I use a head support when I have to.

Been there done that. I found out that I can literally stand on my head under the Jeep with a torque wrench in hand.
