I know there are other iPad users here, curious if any of you JailBreak yours?

Since mine is the original it doesn't have a camera which I wouldn't use anyway but found pretty nice functions after breaking mine. Attached is a screenshot of mine with multiple windows open which is pretty handy and pretty cool too. I'm uploading it using Safari which is also possible after the JB.

Yup, Have an ipad 2 jailbroken. Been jailbraking since my iphone 2g. I like the customization of jailbraking. It also allows me to try before I buy apps. If I like an app Ill go and pay for it. But it drives me nuts to pay for an app that doesn't work like it says its suppose to. What version of IOS are you running?

ios5.x IIRC Winston, I've gone back and forth a few times and found it performs better after jailbreaking. Sometimes the jailbreaks are as bad as crappy apps but I like to screw around anyway so it's no big deal but I've pretty much settled on mine though someone always posts something new that I can't pass up.

I was prompted to post this after running across Springtomize2, very cool and puts a boatload of hacks in one place. I was able to use it in place of 6-12 mini hacks. Gve it a try if you haven't already.

It looks like you are using Quasar. Is it worth the $9.99 price tag?

Probably not Tim, if it had on/off settings it would be for my use but having to install/uninstall is annoying. It works well but opens an app at 25% screen size and you have to click again to make it full screen even if running one app only.

I like NCsettings. It puts quick settings in the notification center drop down list. Infinidock is nice on the ipad. 4 apps just seems like not enough. 5 apps in nice to have in the dock. I also liked MyWi. I would use it a lot when connecting to my phones hotspot. But I have an iphone 5 now which isn't jailbroken so its kinda useless at the moment.

OOO you really should get "SwipeSelection" this is a GREAT app. If you do a lot of typing on the ipad keyboard it helps SO much. You will wonder how you even used an ipad w/o it.

Swipeselection combined with iKeywi (5 row keyboard) should be standard. I've removed the dock on mine which is much better for my use. Folder Enhancer is great allowing me to have the "home" screen with all the apps I use as is Safari Uploader so I can upload photos here.

I have tried jailbreaking my iphones and ipads in the past and love the customization side of it but every time jailbreak anything it seems to slow everything down and add a few bugs. I am not willing deal with those annoyances for the added customization.

I can understand that Kory, I have a iPad1 which is slow by comparison but I think I've found the balance I need. I found there are a number of ways to speed up an old iPad by turning off a bunch of "features." That along with a few hacks I'm happy with mine though I have no idea how it compares to a newer one.

Chris, are you still using a 1st gen iPad? I just got one and have been searching for things to get for it.

Mine's now pretty much dedicated to navigation in the truck. I mentioned good apps in your other post. I no longer have it jailbroken since my use has changed.
