I need to get the flywheel in the Subie turned. Does anyone have a place in Longmont or Boulder they recommend?

I've never had that done but I know that the auto parts store on the north side of 17th East of Main street (Longmont) provides machining. Don't know if they send it out or what.

Go to a Carquest, they can do it. If that particular store can't they will send it to one that will. Same day if dropped of early enough.

Check the price of a new one too. Might actually be cheaper.

The place on 17th I mentioned, after checking, is a Carquest.

Ouch. $230 for a new one isn't cheap. I can see why you want to turn it. I put a Fidanza aluminum one in my Miata several years ago. Was about $250 I think, but will never need turned. The steel inserts just bolt in and are replaceable. Curious to know what it cost you to get one turned as I have a few sitting around the garage.

Carquest said about $40.
