I was wondering if anyone could give me a little insight on what it takes to change out a bump stop on 98 ZJ it is inside the coil over and i really wondering if ther is a way to do do it with out removing the spring because from my understanding that can be an ordeal on its own without a spring compressor wich i don't have. I cant do much wheeling without getting it fixed ,my tire keeps getting into my fender and i would prefer not to cut the fenders.

You can drill the pad from the underneath side. Flex the front end and slip 1" spacers through the coil spring.

Adding the bolt is easy after that.
