I am thinking about using the CBI Offraod DIY bumper kits, on the 84 4Runners rebuild for my sister. Has anyone used them for yota or jeep stuff? Oh as normal anyone's opinions are always welcome.

From what I've heard is they're good as in you get what you pay for and these are pricey! No firsthand experience though.

Chris, check out heftyfabworks.com here in the springs. They do Yota stuff. They did have some Yota pics on their web site. Their prices are reasonable, too. Tell em I sent ya.

They make some quality parts. They used to be on this fourm, but i think they went in active.

Ouch, that't pretty steep for a DIY bumper. You can get a bumper from Addicted Offroad in Greeley for less than that, not have to put it together, and pick it up to save shipping.

Yeah, thats true, I just personally am not a very big fan of tube bumpers. I hate the transparency on them. Theres some nice ones out there dont get me wrong, I just like plate bumpers better.

I agree Chris, plate bumpers are better IMHO. I've seen too many deer/truck threads on the 4Runner forums I frequent not to have a plate bumper. I was lucky and got a steal on my Shrockworks bumper, got it used by being patient and watching the for sale forums.
