Imagine what a flood like that would look like when it drops into a slot canyon. That horizontal wall of water would become vertical. Thanks for posting.

Fortunately we didn't experience this. A thunderstorm rolled through the day before we visited the wash though....

always check weather. Slot canyons, washes etc are not good places to be when it rains.
