Installed this Friday night as a replacement for the stock filter that was just over a year old. My mileage had gone down when I installed larger tires this filter claims to provide better power/mileage than the stock filter. Plus I blew out the stock filter a bit ago and saw a bit of mileage increase even though the stock filter didn't appear to dirty.
Well anyway, I got the ice build up from the weekend off yesterday and checked my MPG on my commute. It appears I'm back up almost to the original stock MPG of around 21. That was what I had with a stock filter and the stock 32 inch tires when I first purchased the vehicle.
I'm pleased. Particularly since I purchased it with my Amazon reward points and only had a $2.99 out of pocket delivered.
Only issue was that the gasket on the new filter is larger that the stock one. It was difficult to get the clips connected on the filter housing. Now that they are I suspect the gasket will conform to the housing and it won't be problem when I clean the filter.
Just thought I'd share.
