Ace Engineering Fenders installed

[ColoJeeper]

Put the Ace Engineering Fenders on my "11" JKU. I am pleased with the fit and installation of the fenders, but not quite so happy with the finish. They were purchased as powdercoated, but is not a good coating. Will work out ok, as I believe I am going to cover them with a bedliner when I do the inside of the rear fender wells, I am not really upset about it. Price was good, as all four came in under $ 700 shipped to my door. Oh well...on to pics:

Got to be honest I like those more than the bushwacker ones... nice clean lines & they look a bit more substantial.

Front fenders are sturdy enough that I can stand on them, so I am quite pleased. The front were basically bolt on installation, while the rear required drilling a couple holes and enlarging a few more and then installing nutzerts to assist the installation. It took me longer to figure out how to modify the fender liners and get then reinstalled in the front than it did to remove and reinstall all four fenders.

Looks good Don, can't tell from your pics if you cut the pinch weld in front of the rear tire. After I installed my Nemesis, it just didn't look right with the large hunk of seam sitting there.

Haven't cut any off the pinch weld in back yet, am waiting to put 35's on and see just how much I need to remove so I don't have to trim it twice.

And Chris, Moab sounds like a fine idea, think we need to plan a long weekend over there again.
