z71 gone, NEW 1984 shorbox chevy :) :) :)

well i traded the z71 for a 1984 chevy short box step side. Specs: 454 edlebrock carb instake, smaller cam, headers, dual flowmaster exhaust, half ton axles :(, limited slip rear end :), 8000lb winch, 350 turbo tranny, 4 inch lift, 35 inch ko's *on the front* mud terrians *on back*, dual gas tanks, extra electric fan, extra inline fuel pump just incase, kc lights. Ill get pics up as soon as possible.

Ramsey's (winch) are made in the U.S.A. if I'm correct.

A new-to-me mounting method for the winch though - neither good nor bad - just different (the forces are in-line vs. 90 deg with winch plate setups)

the mount has the 90 degree bolts but it is also connected by a hitch insert. i put it through some paces out by me just to see what iam working with did very well and to my suprise the axles held up lol. definately need a bigger carb stops really pulling after 3k. 600cfm is definately to small for this big block; specially having a mild cam and instake. Iam thinking a 750 Holley double pumper with mechanical secondaries is in order. did find one weak spot the body mount bushings for the front clip didnt hold up to well to flexing the body gonna pick up some new ones from the bone yard probly today.
