Friends,

The snowpack in the South Platte River Basin currently is at 108 percent of normal. The Colorado River Basin is 103 percent of normal. So, trails on the Front Range and central mountains may open up just a bit later than normal. If you want to wheel early, head for southwestern Colorado where the snowpack is only 46 percent of normal.

Either of these sites will give you data that is updated almost daily.

Or, Google Colorado snowpack and select either of these choices. Look for "Snowtel" in the titles.

Cool - I was wondering what the snow pack ended up being. I was hearing ~79% but then we had 2 or 3 substantial snowfalls.

funny, the southwest is where everyone was going to get to big snow early on this year. The sledding on Molas was MUCH better than it was around here until fab at least.
