Brazing??? Who does it.

Why are you brazing rather than welding? I braze copper all the time, never to any other type metal though. Concepts and heat control would be the same. What type of metals are you brazing?

A good braze is incredibly strong.

How soon do you need this done?

I have only brazed copper too, strongest joints possible no matter the metal. Brazed stuff will not fail(under most circumstances), the surrounding metal will. I remember teaching guys how to braze, they freaked out that the copper turns red/orange and 'looks like it is going to melt' :)

Aaron I would do it if I still had my torch set, brazing it should be no problem if someone knows what they are doing and it will hold up for a long time.
