View Full Version : Guanella Pass Status?

The last update I saw on Guanella was that it was under construction, with plans to have it opened by this past Friday. Has anyone heard/seen if it is actually open? My mother is coming to visit for the week and I want to take her up there if possible.

It's open. I just called Clear Creek county road line for it. Opened today.
Gonna do Geneva Creek and loop over Guanella this Sat instead of China Wall.

I'll report back.

Awesome! I'll give you a wave if I see you. I'll be driving the length of Guanella, starting in Enterprise and heading south.

I hit it from the 285 side this morning. The winter "road closed" sign is still up a mile or so in. The winter gate on the South side below the summit is open. I went up to the summit and turned around. The snowy areas were all plowed.
