Suburban Bumper

[Buffalo]

I have been trying to find pictures of winch bumpers for my suburban and am having a heck of a time finding some. I have a 12,000lb warn winch with no bumper, so I need pictures to get me an idea. I want it to look sleek yet must be effective. can I get some ideas of where to look for pictures? It is a 1984 suburban. I will also need to build a tire rack for the back. I have more luck in that than I do with the front. Thanks

in case you dont know. the 52" spring swap is super easy, and relatively cheap. uses 1/2ton rear springs from truck/blazer/burb up front, to make a 4"lift. add a shackle reverse in the rear and your golden. it is a touch more involved than that, but you get the idea.

One of my biggest complaints with bumpers on the 73-87/91 full size chevy's is how people will mount the winch in front if the grill area. It pushes the bumper to far forward and drastically kills the approach angle. I would move it back and behind the grill area to keep it safe and out of the way.

ZUKRIDER: The pic in the very bottom is just about what I'm looking for. Do we know a ball park price range? It looks like it is attached to a blazer. I have the same frontend for the most part. Looks like it would be right down my alley!

As you can see in my pics, I should have plenty of room to adjust the overhang in front. I agree it will drastically change approach angles and am wanting it to just barley change.

That's a really good price for the amount of engineering and fabbing to make that bumper!
