Anyone going to a junkyard soon?

I have a favor to ask for anyone that is going to a junkyard soon.
If there are any 95-96 explorers and you have time, could you crawl under and measure the front driveshaft and snap a pic? My old one is a cv style and the new transfer case is a u-joint style. From what I've seen on google it looks like 95-96 have a u-joint style, but would like to be sure. Does not matter if its a sport or 4 door.

Are you running the 1354m now? I know on my ranger it's a double Cardan style and the exploder I stole my 1354 out of was the same. I'll be down there either today or tomorrow and check it out for you

Yep. I know some of the ttb rangers and explorers have them just not sure if it will fit with the ifs.

Not a problem, I'll grab one of my ranger tonight, should be the same as the ttb exploders and It looks like I'll be hitting up the jy tomorrow and will measure the 95 96s like you asked

I didn't end up making it to the yard just yet. I recently just had to put down my dogs last year and ended up getting to new lab puppies from a family breeder in MN. We were supposed to meet half on Friday for me to get them, but she ended up having to come sooner so I had to go pick then up last night. Did get the ranger one measured for you. Spaced getting a collapsed and expanded measurement. Ill go grab them in min. But I did get one picture and one measurement reading at 31"

Im going to try and make it today, getting the Pups a few days early threw some wrenches into my system. What is your distance between the tcase and diff? I would think the one off the ranger would fit, or even the explorers in the early years as they were so closely related part wise. And a 1354 is a 1354, so as long as your distance is in the right range i dont see why it wouldn't.
