Very capable trail rig. I ran China Wall with a group of Xs, some with pretty much what you listed. They are amazing. I have a friend who has a fab shop here in the Springs who makes all the goodies you want, skids, sliders, & bumpers all made locally, with installation available. He usually has a back-log but not very long wait. heftyfabworks.com
Don't jump out onto the rocks too soon. Get the sliders & skids on first. The tranny is about $6K to replace if you crack the case and it is apparently pretty easy to do without good skids.

Just sayin.

there is truth in that statement!

ive been serching and number crunching and blah blah blah. decided to make my own sliders. also have decided to "borrow" a design for a basic low profile roof rack. ill be ammending it and making it my own. so that plan is rolling around in my head mostly.

this guys rack design is awesome. but, i have some changes id like to make, hence the redesign. also, it will save me a bunch of money!

im planning to use the space in the front in this pic, as i dont really care for the box that is there on mine. also, im thinking about making it evan more low profile. also, considering a round tube clamp mount.

And per Brads awesome idea, i plan to use this as the floor

this rack is a hold stuff rack. will have both sides and rear lights for camp setup. my roof has the Pro4X offroad lights, which will stay as is. it also has the aforementioned gear box. this for me is useless. and will hangout in the adduce. so i can get the rack to go from just behind the roof lights, to 10" past the end of the metal roof rail.

Nice rig. I like those Xterras...especially when built up. Heftyfabworks does some of the best work I've seen. He used to do a lot of work on full size bronco's
