I'm heading up to Leadville Tomorrow evening staying the night up there til Sunday then coming back. My mom teaches one or two class up there at the college so I accompany her up there to go hiking other other various Leadville activities. This year I'm thinking about bringing my fishing stuff and was wondering how the fishing is at Twin Lakes we are camping there so I will probably have all day. If you have fished there did you catch anything? How many fish? What bait were you using? What was your whole set up? Can I go noodling?;)

Can't speak to the fishing, but what vehicle are you taking? If you're taking an SUV/truck, even a stock one, you can take the scenic way into Leadville. I'm assuming you'll come down I-25 to I-70. Take Guanella Pass out of Georgetown over to 285 and then Weston Pass into Leadville.

We are taking my moms liberty sense the MJ still has a broken spring. I believe we are taking 285 I've never really paid attention to be honest.

Well I didn't catch diddly squat! Didn't even get a bite or anything. I was using night crawlers the last night when we were packing up from the lake and I realized I had 2 things of trout power bait in my tackle box:mad:

did get a couple pictures though
