Nice vid!

Yes, a lot of time to get those done.

I'm thinking the camera could have made good use of some "audible shutter" mechanism - ala "The Clapper" to take a shot. The guy has grimey hands and it would be easy to simply step out of frame and make a distinctive noise to grab the shot and quickly get back to the task. A quite patient assistant would work too - but the odds of that, IMO, quite low.

What was the car? Triumph? Spitfire? It did not appear to be an MG.
