Buyer Beware:

I ordered a Cobra 1.5" Every Day Belt from this guy (http://jonestactical.com/) on 4/12/13. Currently at 171 days (5.5 months, 23.5 wks) since my order. His webpage said 6 weeks lead at the time I ordered, now it says 7. I've emailed him 7 times, and gotten 2 responses, only to find on other forums that the response he sent me was the same he's sent to people, verbatim, for over 2 years (HERE) (http://ingunowners.com/forums/accessories-gear/246172-jones-tactical-belts-anyone-else-having-issues.html).

Silly me, 6 weeks is outside the protection offered by PayPal to get a dispute in their system, and any hope of a refund.

I've heard good things about Ares gear (http://www.aresgear.com/), and how he delivers within his 4 week lead. Any other suggestions on a non-leather EDC belt?

Hmm, they must have changed their dispute system, I got very good resolution from them once way outside of 6 weeks.

If you link PayPal to a credit card just call the CC company and tell them to stop payment. They'll do it and if he already paid they'll just debit his account and kick it back to you.

Yeah, if you used your credit card on Paypal, file a dispute through the card. I would at least contact Paypal first to give them the option to settle it for your. I always pay through Paypal with my credit card, not with a bank account, just for that reason.

CC is giving me my $$ back, and he only responded to me off a BBB complaint. What a bum...

I'm going to check out a 5.11 belt this week, but that Wilderness option is looking pretty good... I currently wear a bison designs last chance belt and it's very similar, I assume the wilderness unit is stiffer though.
