I picked up these FJC steel wheels a while ago to replace my stock alloys. When we had a sidewall blow out on Schofield Pass I decided I wanted better tires. The two came together yesterday with the bonus of not needing wheel spacers due to the more favorable offset of these.

What tires did you go with this time? Something with a 3-ply sidewall?

I went with DuraTracs Charles, as much as I liked the Silent Armors the sidewall wasn't as good as I need.

Those look good Chris, I like the white wheels! Did you go with a 4" offset? What size DuraTrac?

Here's the offset differences from stock Limited and FJ Cruiser steel wheels.

17" 4th Gen wheels
Offset: 30MM

17" FJC wheels
Offset: 15MM

I stayed with 285/70/17's as before.

I picked up a set of 5 BFG M/Ts off a JK for my pickup for $600 yesterday. A little noisy but plenty traction. Duratracs were my preference but no good deals on Craigs List. They hardly ever show up used.

Yeah, I watched but nothing showed up so had to go with new. The good thing about me buying tires is that Barb never has an issue since she views tires on our truck the same as a roof on the house - need it to be good! Other expenses aren't viewed the same. :lmao:

Funny thing is she was not happy when I came home with the wheels but came around yesterday and said "they don't look bad" which is good enough for me. :thumb:

I'm probably going to sell my old tires and wheels after measuring the tread depth and fixing my truck after screwing up yesterday when I pulled in to the garage with the rear gate open. Today is spoiler removal day.

The color matched wheels are very fitting for a "Hybrid":D

Can't go wrong with Duratracs

That look fantastic! I like the white, and I have had a great experience with my duratracs, I expect you will too. :thumb:

We run duratracs on all of our patrol trucks. We dont get stuck. Not an option. Bad azz tires.

Love it, Chris. :thumb: I considered getting the same wheels, white and all, but my FJC TT wheels were too good of a deal to pass up.
