Im am about to pic up a donor truck for the axles on my ZJ. I found an amazing deal on a complete truck and was about to go for it until I did a little more research. The truck has a d60 front end (this is what I want) the rear on the other hand has a stearling 10.25. I don't really know the difference or if it even matters for my project. The question is. What is the difference? Will it hold up the same? What might be the aftermarket support for this axle?

thanks I think I actually found a winner. Its a 2004 f250 diesel. it has the d60 front and a 10.50 rear. The info you gave me actually helped in this decision. I did a little more research and the 04 had the stronger 10.5 and its equivilant to a d70ish. the main downfall is a 31 spine shaft but to run the 42s planned I need to change the gears since im going to be running different gears anyway that doesn't matter. the bonus is it already has discs front and rear so primo as I was planning a disc brake swap. AND my brake booster can handle them YEAH!!!
