New guy in Denver

Hi all, names Mike, moved back to Denver a few months ago. I've always had XJs and MJs but I just picked up my first fullsize rig last week. Its an 08 Dodge Ram 2500 regular cab long bed 5.7 4x4. 1 owner truck with 152,000 and full service records! First pickup I have ever owned and its exactly the one I've always wanted. (other than a mint 92 Jeep Comanche shortbed with a 4.0/aw4/231 combo which I am still searching for) The truck is a stripper base model only options are automatic trans and cruise control. It had SXT stickers on the bedsides but I don't know exactly what comes with that package. I'm no stranger to trucks. I have worked at 4 Wheel Parts and I'm around trucks a lot now that I work in construction. I've had mostly Jeeps and VW's in the past. Currently I also have a VW Golf R that put down 378 horse 390 torks at all 4 wheels on 91 octane at 5000 feet elevation. This truck will be my work truck/daily driver/trail rig/tow rig for the VW. I'm definitely looking to wheel it but I've never wheeled a full size truck before so maybe some easier/open trails would be good to start.Truck came stock other than a spacer leveling kit up front and some crap white body aftermarket shocks. The moment I got it home I removed all the badges and stickers except the logo on the tailgate and the RAM/heavy duty/2500 on the doors. I also removed the chrome hubcaps, painted the steelies black, tinted the windows and just got 35s put on. Since I cant leave well enough alone I will be starting a build thread for the truck here in the near future. Until then here are some pics.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! I look forward to meeting people and wheelin again. I'm also excited to breathe new life into another forum users old truck. Hopefully he's not afraid to talk to me about it and is willing to share knowledge he's got about the intricacies of the truck. It sure had a lot of mud caked underneath it!!!
