SOLD Thanks!

Hey all. I took this 4Runner in trade from another board member a month or so ago. It needed a few things, like a clutch, to make it road worthy. Well I got it all fixed up and now the poor thing is just sitting in the cold waiting for her new home. Here are the specs:

1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5
3.0 L V/6, 5 speed, 4x4, manual locking hubs
Runs great, Clean interior, fairly clean body, but does have a few dents and a rust spot on the rear fender
Just under 210K miles, with plenty more to go, would not hesitate to drive across country tomorrow
Clean, Clear CO title
Lots of new parts including new OEM replacement clutch using factory Japanese parts
New alternator, clutch master cylinder, and tune up parts
Last year of the removable hard top,
Aftermarket extra fuel tank above factory spare tire carrier
May need tires soon, but have anther set I might be willing to part with if the price is right
Heater and 4x4 work awesome, great CO vehicle

Just a feeler, but I have an 02 Honda VFR800 ABS with about 16k. It is Italian Red. Bought it two years ago for $3200 but I put new tires on it last summer and have only ridden it about 500miles since then. Fast, comfortable for a sport-tourer and runs great. Has corbin seat and original seat with factory cowl. Like I said, just a feeler, but would that interest you?

That would be a possibility. I am not looking to trade for anything that I would need to add any cash to. Looking for straight across trade, and of course would rather cash. I have had quite a few calls on it yesterday and today. Have already had two offers at $2000 but I am not willing to go that low. Have a couple people supposed to show up tomorrow to take a look if you want to set up a time as well.

Well this bike needs nothing, other than an oil change that I didn't get to before the weather went south. Tires and battery are almost new and it runs like a top. Probably the finest bike I've ever had. I would also be looking at a straight-across trade. I will send some pictures when I can. I can't make it to look at it for a while so I guess I will wait to see how your next few showings go and go from there.

I'd love too. It's a nice little truck. Runs really well and drives down the road well too.

Heck, I even have enough spare parts around here to SAS, lift, gear, lock, and dual case it for someone if they wanted to build it. It would make a SWEET trail rig.

That is what I would want to do with it. Getting some resistance from the wife because she knows it would be a money-sucker for that very reason.

Your wife might be on to something. Try owning 6 or so of them at the same time... Hello. My name is Aaron, and I am an addict.

You should convince my wife of that. She just thinks it's sad.

My wife thinks the same thing. She doesn't mind having a toy to drive around in though, and I have way fewer toys than you do.

Thanks, Aaron

It was one of these or a Scrambler. I think it will fit in this stable just fine.
