Magellan SportTrak Color GPS for sale

I've a used unit that I no longer need and want to get rid of. Fully functional. A few light scratches on the LCD. Includes everything that was originally shipped except the box,plus a windshield mount and a desktop holder. The CD contains topos for the entire US.

The unit is serial io, but I'm including a USB to serial adapter. I see used units on Amazon going for $79, but these don't include the windshield or desktop mounts.

I'll let it go for $79 or best offer.

That's a great price. If I didn't have a small pile of Garmin units for my variety of vehicles and needs I would jump on that. Let's keep this thread at the top. Someone is going to pick that up.

Does this have an internal battery or does it take AA/AAA batteries?

Takes AA but is powered via cig lighter when in a car.

I was curious about why the plug in units. When I am out in the back-country, there often is no way to charge things, so running on standard batteries is key. Will keep this in mind for my future gps. Glad someone was able to use it!
