Well the new year is off to a mediocre start, got the Bronco which was good but then last night Val went out to pickup some dinner and while waiting turn do a left hand turn after two cars pass, a guy in a Ford Taurus pulled out to do a left turn and BAM he T- Boned Val in the Mercedes. Good part she was not hurt just shoo-ken up by the whole ordeal and the fact that the guy didn't even look. He said he couldn't find the brake pedal!!!! When Val told him he had just hit a new Mercedes he said "Oh **** now I am going to really be paying out the ass". Good side is my wife is ok and the guy is totally at fault, down sides are we will be w/o our car and it is wrecked now, we have to fork out $500 for our deductible, I am missing work, and have to get a rental car and wait for our new car to be repaired. :frown:

On the bright side, you should get your deductible back later. Then, slide it over into the toy fund....

Thanks everybody for your support! Mercedes goes in on the 8th for estimate and adjuster said since it is a Mercedes it will cost the guys insurance a lot more to repair and we will get the deductible back because of that. Strange how they work things! We decided that since we have just barely made it to 3 months having the Mercedes and its a 4 yr lease we won't be buying it at the end of the lease but upgrading one model unless Val decides she really wants the Mercedes SUV then we will purchase that.
