Hello all!
Just joined the forum as I am going to try to get serious about wheelin my Jeep this year.
Have a 2000 Jeep TJ Sport, Dana 44 in the back, that I purchased brand new off the showroom floor in August of 2000, had 120 some odd miles on it if I recall.
Currently has about 112K miles on it, has been through a few alternators, batteries, brakes and sets of tires. Other than that has been perfect.
When my wife and I first came to Colorado in 2001 we did a reasonable amount of wheeling up off of Gold Camp Road and Longwater Gulch. Which is how I convinced the wife to let me buy a winch and some JKS disconnects, but that's a story for another time. Also did some trips around Saint Elmo and that area. Then life and kids kind of took over. Still have used the Jeep for annual hunting trips and the occasional weekend fun drive up off of Rampart Range, but nothing too serious.
Finally have the funds and the time to throw at the Jeep, so I found a fellow named Josh Jones on your forum and will be taking my Jeep over to him to start the build. Starting with 4.88 gears, then will be doing a 2.5 inch suspension lift and some 33" in tires. TeraLow, lockers, axles, MetalCloak fenders, etc.... to follow.
I look forward to learning from you all and getting tips on good places to take the Jeep as the vehicle becomes more capable.
Thanks for the good info !

The Jeep as it stands, 1" body lift, Warn 8274 winch, Warn front Bumper, Garvin Jamboree rack and spare tire carrier, Shocks and Springs from an 04 Rubicon LJ, JKS disconnects and an upgraded alternator out of a Durango. Currently sitting on 30x9.50r15s, but have a set of worn out 31x10.50r15s on steel rims as well. The new 33s will be going on the black steel rims.
