Looks really good, but may need some work. Would be worth it though.

Not bad at all. I would trade my 95 even for it.

I have only drove a few miles and will not guarantee it will pass emissions.

I believe Golden is an emissions county and it's my belief that the seller has to provide a passing emissions cert to the buyer (esp if the buyer is in an emissions county).

But I'm not bringing the food or drinks.

I'm not sure it applies to private party sales. Just dealers, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Required

http://aircarecolorado.com/consumer-information/change-of-ownership/

I recall sweating some when I had already purchased the Jeep (with a converted carb to MPFI), dumped 1.5K into the rear diff, and found out emissions were a requirement. I was wondering if it'd pass and if I was sitting on something I'd not be able to plate or readily sell (if cost of repair was too outlandish). Fortunately, all was well, but I was nervous for a bit.

Had I known of the issue I'd have required the PO to get the test (though drivable, it was sitting under a tarp for a year).

Ok, like I said I wasn't sure about it for private sellers. Since this ad does say he isn't sure if it will pass or not, you buy at your own risk. Still a cool Bronco and I'm a Bronco nut.

Actually, by law, there is no buy-at-your-own-risk. He is 100% obligated to make is pass, unless the vehicle is deemed to not be road worthy. That would be such as it had no engine or transmission, or the brakes didn't work, etc. Then a legal document provided by the state has to be signed. If he sells it and it doesn't pass, he can be liable for the cost of any repairs needed to make it pass.

I checked it when we was looking and the guy wouldn't respond to questions of whats wrong with it and what needs fixing. So that turned us away.

So it has been listed for quite a while then. Maybe it isn't such a "Cool Find".

It does look good but he has been re-listing that I know of since September.

Has it always had the same price on it?

Jarrold I think he lowered it $500.
