Not sure its worth the drive JUST for that trail, but there are plenty of other trails in Eagle County to do or make it a stopover on the way to other western slope areas. Looks like that trail is near State Bridge, which is ~45 minute drive off of I-70 at the Walcott exit, on the road that heads to Steamboat Springs.

I led a camping trip with Scoutman and some of our friends in that area a couple years ago. There is a meadow on top of Red and White mountain to the Southwest of that area that has awesome views and there is an easy way and hard way to get to it (graded dirt road up the backside off the road to Steamboat, multiple level 4-6 level trails going up the steep side from Edwards)

Red and White Mountain...must be the easy side...

This one isn't too far away and looks fun too..

Sidewinder is a fun trail!!! Kinda like a very tame version of CC.. big rocks, but somewhat spread out. Lots of flex is a must

I was thinking about doing a weekend camping trip for those trails but it will be awhile ( like mid to late spring or summer) before I do because we have to paint my room mates tube bed, and I might be picking up a 60 and a 14 bolt in a couple weeks.

Through trail is near where I live, I finally completed it last year in both directions, pretty fun trail and beautiful area near the Colorado river and Gore canyon. There are some harder spurs off the trail that I need to try sometime. Also quite a few mellower trails near there too with great camping as well as concerts at state bridge!
