I almost hit the sweetest little Chihuahua today, stopped and got her, she's at the Vet on 32nd by Lowell. She's not microchipped or spayed, her nails are longer than her feet and her teeth are gross. So far. But she is an awesome dog. I'm not a big Chihuahua fan usually, but this one is great. Nothing on CL, no collar, no flyers near where I found her. I'm taking her to Foothills animal shelter later this afternoon, but I'd love to find a home for her. I have a meeting @ 4:30, I'll be picking her up after that to go to the shelter. If anyone wants her before 5:00, I'll cover the vet bills. Thanks!!

His name was Schwag. for such a little dog, he had such a big personality. This pic was taken after we ran Half Moon. I was spotting some folks through a rocky/creek section and heard a splash. He was going downstream. After I rescued him he wouldn't leave my side. He got hit by the mail lady last year on Valentines Day. I miss my little wheeling buddy....

I wont tell Val, she wants to save them all (we have 4 dogs now and 3 are from the shelter)

She's at Foothills, Mike is right about them it's the Ritz of shelters. No qualms bringing her there at all. Highlands Animal Clinic was amazing, they kept her all afternoon and cleaned her up, trimmed her nails, fed her and gave her a coat for no charge. She never made it to a kennel, everyone in the office loved her and she spent the afternoon on laps. One of the techs was crying when we took her; she's a really exceptional little girl, I'm not the only one who fell for her, but the tech has a pitbull at home that would eat her. She's in good hands, and she'll get the Vet care she needs. Thanks anyway!!

I don't like them usually either, they're generally biters, but this one is awesome. If I didn't have too many pets already I'd take her myself.

She's up for adoption, they've named her Ginny. If anyone wants a little dog this one is AMAZING!
