Hey everyone, I remember a whole back a mention of Pete writing a book of all the trails he has done that went in-published. Does anyone know where I can get a copy? I was going to try and hike as many as I can this summer in honor of him. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks

He didn't write under the name Brody I believe. He used a different name which is slipping my mind at the moment. I bet Chris remembers it.

To my knowledge of him (limited), he was a high mental intelligence person. Some subjects he knew a lot. He was one who was willing to help/offer/assist - above and beyond the call, using his abilities.

Yea pete was great about a lot of things. We didn't get along great on the computer but in person I think we were both different people.

Yeah, Pete was a great guy and while not everyone got along with him he'd give anyone the shirt off his back. I suspect I knew him better than most on here and still miss his smiling face. Since he's gone I'll slip something you don't know, he wrote under his real name. ;)

he wrote under his real name.True and correct!

Not so long ago, I used to be up at dark:30 in the morning, coping with stress. Pete would be up, coping with pain. My escape is reading, I think his was writing. If you read his posts, you could know him well enough.

I have one of the books if anyone needs to know what hikes it included. I think the one I picked up was for Utah. I will have to confirm that.

I actually knew that Chris! Not sure how I did though. That's why I said he wrote under a "different" name as opposed to fake name.

I gave some of his climbing books away to someone on here, can't remember who but I knew I'd never use them. :brody:

Yeah, Pete and I were the same age and despite the pain he lived with he was still climbing.
