Oh, I'll keep my eyes peeled... It's monsters like him that make parents like me not let their children play in their own back yard without adult supervision. Where the hell has morality gone??? These monsters are ruining the childhoods of kids they have never even seen, much less molested. And the added burden for parents to have to say "no" to a child who just wants to go swing on the swing-set while you cook or whatever... their innocence is taken away for no fault of their own. So then you have to try to explain your answer of "no" and you risk making them afraid of everyone they meet. It's sick.

Jackie. I refuse to be part of that. If I cant let my kids play out side by themselves I don't belive I need to live there. I know there are monsters every where how ever there is a much higher chance of finding one in Denver for example over where I live. My kids (and the other neighborhood kids) all run free.

People like that don't have a place on this earth in my opinion. I hope they find his ass already dead.

I'm scared enough for my kids that I don't trust any neighborhood. We live 2 miles from where Jessica Ridgeway was taken and...killed.
My eldest daughter rents a house 2 houses away from where Jessica lived. (She used to ride her bike and play with all the other kids right outside my daughter's house).
My youngest daughter is only 9.
I like to think that my neighborhood is safe, but you never know who "is passing through". I can't let Annika "run free" - as much as I want to. Too big of a risk. That's why I say these perverts are ruining the lives of people they have never even seen.

I use to live in that neighborhood, it has really gone down hill over the past couple years. Where her memorial is were I use to practice football and I went to middle school with the kid who killed her. I see were you are coming from my parents were the same way with me. Hell they still make me text them and let them know where I am at all times. It irritates me beyond belief but its for my own safety. I better safe then sorry we live in a messed up society with people like this freak that ruins the fun for everyone

I own a house that is across the street from where Jessica was taken. My wife knows the family and she was at our wedding. That whole affair hit our family really hard.

So, 3-4 weeks ago I was selected for jury duty in Weld County. I was ultimately selected as a juror for a case against a gentleman named Scott Kloberdanz of Johnstown. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a child due to possessing child pornography. After 3 solid days of trial, including viewing some of the sick sh!t recovered from his possession, we deliberated for 5 hours and found him guilty.

I've seen nothing in the news about the case, either before or after. This, to me, is a sobering indicator that there are a lot of creeps out there, many of whom we may not even realize...

Next time, for the love of good reporting and justice, please post a source or news story for something like this. I had to dig through links and text to find an official source for this. (which is here http://www.dcsheriff.net/mostwanted/john-swietlicki )

How are we supposed to know this isn't someone's ex that wants to screw them over?

I understand your point but this guys history of predatory behavior gives me little reason to think he's innocent. I spent years working for a non-profit that helped men being screwed over as you mentioned and this guy doesn't fit in any way. If he was being attacked/smeared by an ex he wouldn't be on the run and wanted in three other states.

I was doing a little research on him and I found he had been involved with some sorta battle with the epa. I couldn't find anything else on it or him, any body know anything about this.

I've shared this on facebook, naxja, and a couple of Jeep groups on facebook.

Reminds me of a George Carlin quote; "We could just outlaw religion and most of these sex crimes would die out in a generation or two...BUT WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR RATIONAL SOLUTIONS!" :lmao:

Quit Bubble-Wrapping Our Kids!

Featuring Lenore Skenazy, Founder, Free-Range Kids; author; and host of the TV series “World’s Worst Mom” (Discovery/TLC); moderated and with comments by Walter Olson, Center for Constitutional Studies, Cato Institute.

Our children are in constant danger from — to quote Lenore Skenazy’s list — “kidnapping, germs, grades, flashers, frustration, failure, baby snatchers, bugs, bullies, men, sleepovers and/or the perils of a non-organic grape.” Or so a small army of experts and government policymakers keep insisting. School authorities punish kids for hugging a friend, pointing a finger as a pretend gun, or starting a game of tag on the playground. Congress bans starter bikes on the chance that some 12-year-old might chew on a brass valve. Police arrest parents for leaving a sleepy kid alone in the back seat of a car for a few minutes. Yet overprotectiveness creates perils of its own. It robs kids not only of fun and sociability but of the joy of learning independence and adult skills, whether it be walking a city street by themselves or using a knife to cut their own sandwich. No one has written more provocatively about these issues than Lenore Skenazy, a journalist with the former New York Sun who now contributes frequently to the Wall Street Journal and runs the popular Free-Range Kids website where she promotes ideas like “Take Your Kids to the Park and Leave Them There Day.” Her hilarious and entertaining talks have charmed audiences from Microsoft headquarters to the Sydney Opera House. Please join her and Cato’s Walter Olson for a discussion of helicopter parenting and its unfortunate policy cousin, helicopter governance.

I'll respect every ones's right to raise their kids the way they want to. I didn't choose to raise my kids the way I do. I simply don't want to lose them or have harm come to them inflicted by some jerk that has no business near my kids. I'll be the proud helicopter mom... I can deal with broken teeth and broken bones and skinned knees and the whole 9-yards if we're just talking about kids just playing and getting busted-up because that what happens when you're playing and having fun sometimes.
