I am piecing together some of the last things for my truck before being ready to cage it. Hope to be able to start on it by June, although that's a tough time to not have truck. I will be installing a Smittybilt XRC rear bumper to match the front one which I was planning on reinforcing into cage. Also JCR rock sliders to tie in. Going to be getting the rear quarter armor with bar that I would like to tie in to reinforce quarter armor.

I have been looking at pictures of XJ's with cages and have an idea of what I want. I like having 4 vertical supports (front, rear,between doors and behind rear door). I would like to avoid anything crossing my windshield. I do want a roof rack afterwards. I am still undecided on fender flares. I like the flat fender ones. Here are a couple pictures of the ones similar to what I was thinking. The last one hits the closest to what I was thinking just not quite the way it flows.

I apologize. Thought you were the one who posted and was now just finally posting photos.

If timing is an issue, call, PM or email me anytime. I happen to spend many a late night in the shop. Worst thing thing that would happen is that I don't answer. And if I don't, I will try back at a time you give if I am able.

The other thread is still a good baseline. 1.75" x .120" wall is around $5/ft (remember, my cost, and I buy a lot) so take some measurements and you can figure out approximate costs for material. My shop rate is $80/hr. Basic exos (two hoops and a couple spreaders attached to existing hardware) takes around 10-20 hours to complete without any coating.

If I had to ballpark quote the exo (no bumpers or sliders or roof racks) from the last photo. I would say the $2000-2500 range including materials and rattle can finish.
