So this morning on my way home from the airport, some idiot was in front of me in a box truck when his back door opened and dropped his load in front of me at 60mph....

I had all three kiddos with me in the monster. I hit a huge bedroom set dresser with a big mirror and their big screen TV. It exploded hurting my jeep, and went threw the window of the fiat on my right and hit a few cars behind me.

The driver of the new comero behind me hit his breaks and got rear ended by a tundra. Fiat got rear ended by an f350 superduty . lady in the fiat had a few cuts from wood that made its way threw her windshield. Her the driver in the super duty "who wasent belted in" and the driver of the RS behind me went to hospital. But my 2yo 3yo and 3 week old were. Still asleep as I came to a stop....... How they slept threw that I'll never know. I did not have my phone with me at the time but now that I'm home I'll take photos of the jeeps carnage

Total damages are unknown. Too cold to get underneath her at the moment. But so far lots of scratches, extra cracks in windshield, totally busted headlight. Two broken light bezles, lots of gashes and scratches. Something wrong with my front breaks, feels like back only fronts Dont feel like there stopping & a very pissed off daddy.

Yea honestly besides the breakes issue witch I'm unsure of. The rest is only about $40 worth to repair. Some paint and some new headlights. The corner prices were only $5 each at pull n pay. Makes me mad tho I JUST put them on like 5pm yesterday

Glad your family is ok, I would have loved to see your jeep destroying that dresser you have the right bumper for it !!

As far as the scum bags with no insurance or run goes, my 2-cents is the vehicle no matter what should be giving to the victim! or crush for the recycle money for you to do as you wish......... better that the normal stick in the eye in which every law abiding citizen gets now days.

Everything happens for a reason and it's fortunate for you that you and the kids emerged unscathed. Hope all works out for you and the idiot driving the box van gets his Karma card ripped up.

Such a terrible experience. Glad you and the kids are safe. I believe there should be a much more harsh punishment for people that do those things.

Wow what a bad day. With three children in the car none-the-less. It's bad enough that adults were hurt and vehicles were damaged, but the fact that the a$$ hat ran??? Hopefully it was another motorist (witness) that had the good sense to call it in. DUI, no insurance, no visa - this guy better be in big trouble. I'm just really glad you and the family are OK.

Glad you & little ones didn't get hurt. A good bumper just paid for itself. Too bad other folks had to go to the hospital. And everyone's insurance rates just went up because of that uninsured illegal's actions. Wonder if the goods were stolen?
