My 1993 XJ has a broken driver side rear leaf. The front has a rock krawler long are, but not sure what the leafs are. Where can you go to get it matched up and fixed?

Try Midwest Truck Parts, or Denver Spring. Although, I think you might be better off buying a new set.

it is fairly hard to match a worn in spring so it would be easier to either 1 go junkyard the whole rear set of packs from a similar year truck and just use a leaf or two in both sides of your truck so they match up or 2 buy only two new leafs and only replace the one leaf in both packs ......... thats how i would do it anyway

Is it the main leaf that is broke or another leaf? If a main, you would be better getting a matched set. If it is a non-main leaf, you can always just get a pair of similar length leafs and replace those in each pack. Just a thought.

I can nearly guarantee that it will be cheaper to buy an off the shelf spring then it would be to get a custom made spring from Denver Spring or similar. I got one a set for my F250 and they were almost half the price of Denver Springs quote. Plenty of aftermarket suppliers for springs for the XJ, so worth looking for sure.

I just recently got my new springs from Amazon for way cheaper than any stores had them. If you pick the wrong lift size you can make adjustments with longer shackles.

I think it is lifted about 6.5", but I need to measure. It has the ford 9" rear, do I use the same leaf as a stock xj?

Yes it should. Leaf should be 2.5 inches wide to match shackles. You will have a different u-bolt for width of axle, match to the 9". U-bolts are supposed to be replaced every time they are removed.

Frank, So 5.5" with shackle would give 6.5" in the rear?
