hey guys, I'm looking for a soft top for a TJ. doesn't need to be anything special, just needs to be able to hold the rain out, pretty much. I don't care what color. I'm getting ready to take my hardtop off, but I can't bring myself to sell it, I don't think. and I don't have cash for a new top like I'd want.
I have a few things I could trade for a top:
Alpine CDE-100 CD player. it's only a few months old, nothing wrong with it. I just didn't like it's lack of iPhone connectivity. comes with wiring harness, cage & faceplate surround. again, perfect condition, just didn't like it. it's probably worth $80-100. I think it was $120 new.
I also have some mountain bike parts that I could trade/sell:
almost new Carver carbon 29er fork - has 6 rides on it, just moved from TX and the trails here require some suspension. it looks new and only has one small scuff on it, 8 1/2" long straight steer tube. I paid $200 new, trade or sell for $150
Paul Components SS hubs, black - perfect condition, for rim brakes only, laced to WTB rims. I wanted to cut the rims out and relace these hubs for my cyclocross bike, but I'll never get around to it. these hubs alone go for $200+, so I'm asking $150 for the whole wheelset.
used Truvative Stylo crankset: chrome, 180mm length, great condition. no bottom bracket, but I have some different sized rings that could go with it...32 or 34 I think. asking $70
Kalloy seat post - great condition, no major scratches, black, 27.2 x 400mm. old school and sturdy. asking $15
Avid SD v-brakes & levers - good contion, probably could use new pads. asking $20 for levers & brakes w/cables
Shimano m517 SPD pedals - used, and fixed many times, but still work. asking $15
Crank Bros Candy pedals - used but work great. asking $15
if anyone has a line on a soft top, that would be great. otherwise, all this stuff is for sale. make me an offer if you're interested. :)
