Good grief! Barb bought a new car a bit ago and today I picked up the new plates to put on. I won't name the dealership :lmao: but thought I'd share their attention to detail of what I found when putting the rear plate on.

At least they are all Phillips head.True that, although most people are not OCD enough to see these things. :D

Ran a lil' short on some basic supplies I guess. Maybe they found a few stragglers on the floor. "That'll work!" :lmao:

What??? I never claimed to know how to use the BFH! :lmao: But I did manage to get the hitch ball off my Jeep (after it pissed me off)! :lmao:

That would drive me crazy. I never prepped a car where all the hardware didn't match. We change out hardware all the time at JC's with good matching hardware. And usually our plate frame if there is a dealer frame on there. :D

The Duct tape is for after the BFH, duct tape makes it all better!

Haha. I work there!

I am ALMOST positive that detail added the bottoms and mismatched the tops. Mostly because we are paid by the job, and we dont make extra steps. plus, we have bins of matching new bolts/screws/pins, etc.....

Id love to find out who though! Is it a Certified? You all should have had me check it out for you first. Is it a CRV?

It's new Joe, bought the 2013 Civic off the showroom floor. Someone was in a hurry.

Barb believes in dealership maintenance so it'll be back, I trust her experience with routine maintenance will be better.

(I sure hope so!)

Well, with that, its very possible the PDI was done elsewhere, and we took it in a trade. If your up for it, PM me the VIN, and ill dig up who it was, if ours.

It's new Joe, zero miles.

zukrider

zero miles is not possible. they all arrive with 1-2 on them from the truck. we put 5-10 on them in the PDI. and Kunii is just a few miles away, it could have come from a few dealers. some out of state dealer trades happen with trailered cars as well. anything is possible.

But just for grins, id love to figure it out.

Okay, I'm sure it had a few miles on it but not many.

It was on the showroom floor right outside of the sales manager's office, back/left side when walking in the front door. It didn't have plates when Barb test drove so it was done while she finalized the deal so someone there did add the mis-matched stuff.

No need to be sorry Joe!

Now if she brings it in and you're the one to work on it and I see something like that afterwards it would be a different story! :D
