US Citizen

I feel it's unnecessary for any legit job to need to specify that.

Many government jobs it's a requirement.

However, this being a private business, I feel it's their right. Much the same as the hours and days they operate.

Just so we're clear, someone can be authorized to work in the US, but not a US citizen. Right? Do they still run an I9 (http://www.legalmatch.com/law-library/article/penalties-for-employers-hiring-illegal-immigrants.html)on new hires?

Where this is an "at will" state there can hire or fire for any reason..
They can not deny an application for any reason, but they dont need to hire !!
