Long story short, I'm going long travel on my truck. This first requires removing my current lift. When the lift is installed a piece that a crossmember bolts to is cut off and of course, I don't have it. I need your guy's ideas about how to fix the problem and provide a place for a crossmember to bolt to. I was thinking just make a mount that the cam bolt goes through on both sides, but the cam bolt won't be long enough. Then i thought weld some plate on the outside, but since the cam bolt needs room to be adjustable, there isn't much room... So i need some designs and thoughts on how to weld something to what is left of the existing mount in order to provide a place for a crossmember to bolt while not restricting the cam bolt. One thought is that I will just use a normal bolt (wont need room for adjusting) and leave the alignment aspect of it to the adjustable heims on the upper control arm, but it would be nice is i could easily just return to stock in the future.

One idea: Maybe add some ribs on the back side for strength?
