One day with our house on the market and have two offers - 1 full price, one over full price. I'm a happy guy today!

In reality we have a way to go to make sure the offers are good with the lenders, blah, blah, blah.
I might end up with more time to get it done. We've entered the waiting game while the agents do their thing.

Kinda makes you wish you would have asked more but then again maybe you can just wait while a bidding war goes on making you a richer man!

Thanks again.
Signed & sealed, the full price offer was much more solid than the higher offer.

Isn't it nice not to have to fight to get something sold.

Glad you got what you wanted. Sometimes something that is a sure deal beats another offer that may not happen. Congrats!

A bit of humor regarding the sale.
In our laundry room (unfinished part of the basement) we have 2 swings. They raise more than a few eyebrows when people walk in and see them.
The buyers said it took them a bit but after seeing photos of the grand kids in our walls said "That's who uses the swings!" and were relieved. :lmao:

It seems that's the way the housing market is right now. We moved in the beginning of May. Our old house went on the market at 3pm and we had 4 showings and 3 offers by 8pm. One at asking price, one 5k over, and one 15k over. We owned that house for 6 years, we were upside down on it 2 years ago, and the sale price ended up 50k more than what we paid for it.
Congrats on a quick sale, hopefully the rest of the process goes smoothly for you.

Wow, that's great Dave! It's nice to see the economy coming back and I hope the banks do screw things up again by lending to people who shouldn't be buying like last time around.

Congrats - that's awesome! It's really, really good to hear this about the housing market. TOO funny about the swing(s), ha ha! My folks just put their house on the market (Boulder). I hope it doesn't sell fast, though (they're moving back to Michigan).

Same thing happened with our house in Fort Collins, we had accepted an offer by the end of the first day because our agent knew the lender was a good one.
