Spring Creek 6/14/14

Ran Spring creek to Cascade Creek yesterday. Had a ton of fun. It was a busy day on the trail with multiple groups in front of us and one group that we saw behind us.

Left the Starbucks at 10:00 or so and started up the trail. We hit a small traffic jam on the first obstacle but it only lasted about 5 minutes. Then when we hit the Rock Garden a guy in the group ahead of us split the transfer case in half on one of the obstacles. After that we ran into the first group doing an extraction due to driveshaft failures.
Our group made it through without breakage.

All in all it was a good day!

I was part of the group that talked with you folks at Starbucks before you hit the trail; we ran the other direction and did the Empire Loop. So, how did the big-a$$ K5 do?
