Just checking in. I've lurked here for a while but finally taking the plunge so to speak. I'm stoked that this group seems to have a bit more actual wheeling than some of the others dedicated to this area. These days I usually pile the family (wife and 6 & 8 year old girls) in our 2000 TJ that I've done a thing or two to and enjoy the more scenic trails though I still like to get out and flex the suspension a little on the tougher trails that they'd rather pass on. I'll get some pics of our ride up shortly but it's nothing special. TJ with a home brew long arm, SYE, 4" springs, ARB's, 4.56s, typical bumpers, rockers etc. It does alright for a Jeep, don't tell anyone but I'm a Toy guy at heart.

Anyway, we're off for a week in Silverton, I'll post up a trip report when we get back.

Welcome to the group, Pete. Check out the planned trail rides and hook up with some of us. I will have my 9yr old daughter with me for the Devil's Canyon run on Aug. 17th. Might be a fun opportunity for our kids to meet new friends! This forum is family-friendly. Everyone looks out for the little-ones... (and dogs - though I don't have one)!
