So im having a great morning, kids let me sleep in untill 8 im happy, hop in the truck and head out to work. Get about a mile from home, push clutch to go for 2nd gear and there it goes. A decently loud pop and my clutch pedal falls limp. Dangleing there i'm thinking ohh ****. Everyone is on vacation, whos going to open my store?

So i calm down and pull the lower panel on the chevy to see whats going on. And there it is........ The bane of my existance...... Chevy has chosen to use a piece of plastic to hold the metal eye of the hydraulic pushrod to the metal clutch pedal. SERIOUSLY????? Ok so lets see whats in the toolbox!

A little bit of rock crawler ghetto rigging and were good to go. Call Go Chevrolet. On speaker while im mending it and they have 1 in stock cost is $8.72 so i tell him i want two of them and dude is like........ Why? You only have 1 on the truck. And im seriously like blown away at him. I explain that things break and never when planned, so i would rather have an extra on hand just incase.

Long story short. If you have one of these trucks, and this happends to you. You can temp fix with a baby hose clamp & i have an extra :)
