I'm bored...........
i want to go wheeling on the 10th or 12th, its my only day's off. but i dont want to destroy my truck. but i also want to have fun and not just drive on a dirt road. lefthand canyon is closed. so where can i go thats not " Too Far" that would be fun but not destroy a 01 ZR2 W/ 31's 4low and 5 spd

I'd be up for it! Nothing extreme but that's what it sounds like you want to do as well.

A few other options a bit north (near Estes Park) would be Storm Mountain, Pierson Park Road, Pole Hill and Johnny Park Road.

Johnny park is a good one, just keep the windows up or you will be cleaning out dust for a week. At least I did the last time I went, but don't let that stop yah.

Thanks for the update- just as well I haven't gotten out. Sounds like some of the closest off road sites won't be open this year.

I may get in on this. Weekdays should be less people, slower, easier, no worries...
And... if anyone can reach Glacier Paul... he's an excellent tour guide and knows the area like the back of his hand.

My BFGs have 3 ply sidewalls but it takes too long to air down and air back up from too low.
Plus with the Trutracs, traction isn't much of an issue anymore.

I havent had a problem with trac yet, But I haven't really pushed them yet.
