Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself and my family first with a photo:

That's our toy, a 2013 Wrangler Rubicon we bought new last year. Caught in the rain with no top! At least we had umbrellas!
We use to have a 2000 Sport in Solar Yellow that I loved and adored but life got in the way and I had to do a lot of commuting so I traded it in for a rice burner back in '06.
We recently came back from a trip to Moab where we had a blast on some "moderate" trails. I didn't try any of the hard ones because it was just the darling wife and I and I truly didn't know the capabilities (nor want to get trail damage) on the pretty new Jeep.
We're not planning to do any mods though I think if we get more serious about "hard" trails then I might at least get a winch and maybe some armor. Too many hobbies and not enough $ will help dictate what we can and can't do of course. For now, we'll just enjoy it's from-the-dealership-floor capabilities (which are amazing IMHO) and with a big smile. :D
Our friends Jill and Don invited us to tag along with a little run up in Idaho Springs this weekend so we might get to meet one or two of you. My wife Lori, our daughter Darcy, and her friend Morgan will be there as well.
We live in Castle Rock so just a short drive to Pike Ntnl forest and surrounding area but we're not scared of traveling a bit to see the beautiful Colorado mountains from places only a 4x4 can go!
I'm an IT Network Architect/Engineer by trade. I love PC, console, and tabletop gaming. I develop and script tools and web sites for fun. I dabble in home improvement.
My wife Lori works in paper crafts and runs the house.
We have a 16-year old son named Dalton and a 14-year old daughter named Darcy. They are wonderful and super smart and the best people I know.
See ya around!
Eric
