Hey I just finished the engine swap on the scout and over the next week or two I be driving it around town and getting it tuned and running right. What trails are close and more than just dirt road for a shake down run?(its been a while sense the scout and I have wheeled)

Thanks Brent

Congrats on getting the Scout running! Unsure what you might find close to Parker. We used to go out to the Devils Head area when I was in college, but due to fires, I believe much of that area might be closed now.

A little closer would be Slaughterhouse Gulch. Great trail that I use for shakedown runs and teaching my daughter.

You could consider Barbour Fork or Devil's Canyon - not too far from Morrison. And you could run them both in the same day.

You can run to Castle Rock and up Dakan Road there are some pretty easy roads that would be good for a break in run. If you want to go let me know and I can show you around. Only about an hour from Parker.
