So my mind is already shifting to the fun of winter sports. Is anyone else a skier/snowboarder with plans for the winter? I've got the Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus this year and plan to spend a lot of time at Copper and Winter Park. They also added Eldora this year, so I'll check that out as well. I'll primarily be up there on the weekends but plan to take some time off mid-week to avoid traffic, etc. I bought new skis this year which are a huge improvement over my old ones.
If you've got plans for the slopes, let me know and we can meet up.

I did a fair amount of boarding at loveland last year. I'm not sure about how much I will be doing this year, but I defiantly enjoyed it!

RMSP+ holder here.
Love bumps, steeps, trees and anything not groomed.
Got brand new Icelantic Nomad RKR's with Look PX12's ready to go for this season!

Cool. Maybe we can meet up at some point since I have the same pass, though my ski style probably isn't as hard-core as yours. I bought new Rossignol Sin 7s this year; I demoed them twice last year and they were a huge improvement over my old. They're a 70 powder / 30 all-mountain ski.

I have a board and would love to hit the slopes but haven't been in several years since tearing my knee up. Was hard enough before my knee after injuring my back now I am not sure I can do it anymore. Haven't gotten the hang of turning so I find myself on the ground a lot. My wife wants to learn to ride so it might be in the stars to try this year.

I've got a board too, don't ride it much... maybe once a season.

Lean forward, weight biased to your front foot. Let the mountain do the work. Ain't that bad once you figure out the balancing act :thumb:
